So Mark and I had been chatting for a few weeks. We finally confirmed meeting at 7pm. He texted me at 6:20 saying he would leave by 6:40 and would be at my place by 7:30. We discussed train routes etc and he was hurrying. At 7:40 after I tried texting multiple times and then finally called him, he texted back saying he was charging his phone and fell asleep because he was tired. No apology. I had turned down two other trade requests and set up my table etc only to have my evening wasted. As I told him- if he wants to become a massage therapist, this shit won't fly. Think twice before engaging him.
Stepmastermark and I were able to get together for an exchange. I am proud to say we have a "new and upcoming" massage therapist in the making. Although he has just began his studies in bodywork, his enthusiasm and ambition along with intuition made for a great exchange. I look forward to him completing his studies and exchanging massage regularly.
I had a most pleasant exchange with Stepmastermark yesterday. I have been a massage therapist for many years and he is just beginning his training at the same school I attended long ago. It is a very first rate school. I was able to share some of what I've learned in years of practice. He is a beginner, but his touch is quite fine and he has intuitive ability. I'm sure he will become an excellent practitioner in a very short time. I look forward to future exchanges.
