Should be free to send messages. The way this site runs discourages me to use it. At least a daily 2 or more messages a day for free.

Eliminate it all. Why would I pay for anything when there is a mere handful of people online within a hundred miles of me. And I live in a major city. At least lower the prices

When I initially joined I was bemused / confused by the multitude of ways to access others in the system.
It seems there are few in my area, so I eventually opted for Tokens.
Perhaps only have tokens and change the pricing structure to make it more appealing.
Even though there are few potential matches, most either don't respond or haven't logged on for many months.
Around this area, it seems to be pointless being involved with M-E.
I hope this changes ;-)

It’s a bit confusing with many options to communicate but o my certifiably ones are allowed. Makes it overly complicated to chat, message, email, what ever.

In this day and age I believe an offer like, annual membership would have been preferred. A membership eliminating limitations like having to use tokens for every messages. Just an opinion from a fairly new member however, using other relatively same websites.

We never stopped!? Members have always, and can still, reply to GOLD and TOKEN messages for free for life. In addition, free members may also send free "greetings" as ice-breakers.

As long as it's clear what the membership levels are then no reason to change it. I appreciate the token system for that 1 message I send every 6 months or to reply to someone who has messaged me before but no longer able to without paying. I don't have much success on this site (can't/won't compete with the other 199 men messaging each woman) so don't get any value from the other membership plans.

When I first joined anyone could email anyone else. Much better system for exchanges. Not sure what benefits there were for members then. But I had some great swaps and made great friends.

Sorry, but you're mistaken. We were not a 100% free service when you joined in 2023. However, you could reply to Gold and Token messages for free... and you still can.

Far too expensive. Have one membership level that does everything, £10 for one month, £20 for 3 months, £30 for 6 months, £50 for a year. Go for volume on small payment especially during a cost of living crisis. It might encourage people to log in more regularly, too many people have not logged on in months.

Presumably this was meant in jest. However, this is not the best time to make fun of going bankrupt. With the brain-dead Trump tariffs, bankruptcy is an increasingly likely prospect for many US companies, small and large. It's not clear yet how much our operating costs will rise.

more of a suggestion, But It would be great if massageexchange could implement a way in which we get a refund of our token if we send a message to another member and they do not respond in a certain number of days. That way the tokens are not "wasted" (and the money that it takes to purchase tokens)

A refund for unreplied T-mails, however, reveals a glaring loophole: A T-mail sender need only include their phone number or off-site e-mail in the original T-mail and ask the recipient not to reply on-site. That makes every T-mail they send refundable (free). That's bad for business longevity. We'd go out of business. Which we assume is also bad for our customers who want to use our service.

I don’t like the current system as the prices are way too high. I think Tokens should have more options available that are cheaper, Silver should be eliminated as I find it a waste since you can only respond and reply to other Silver members, and Gold membership is okay since they can communicate with whomever but the price options need to be lowered. Honestly, I would be happy if both Silver and Gold were eliminated since the pricing is so high and just keep the Tokens but offer lower prices. Also, there should be an option to communicate with other FREE members who don’t wish to pay or cannot afford to pay. A suggestion I find useful is at least 10 free emails per day should be allowed for free members to communicate and respond with other members no matter what membership they have. Another suggestion is just how retail stores have promotions the site should provide promotions during the holidays or monthly for cheaper payment options or discounts.

My current thoughts are why purchase tokens being I have a Silver membership and it appears I would be smarter to upgrade to Gold than to buy tokens for basically the same cost. So, I would agree with other members that saying drop Silver only if you make that price point Gold.

The only difference is a free member may read and reply to gold. Gold should have more perks or silver have less. To choose silver having less would punish existing subscribers. Get rid of silver make gold the cost of silver. It rewards the gold by paying less or getting “free” months and rewards silver. In the end it rewards everyone because the free will be able to read what was sent.

Dont mind paying for tokens if the Members contacted at least had the decency to respond - either positive Or negative - Not let one hanging. Shows lack of commitment and not serious about membership or the Exchange process.
Also - Serious lack of promotion to attract Females and other diverse genders on this platform

it all feels like complete BS And a scam. You’re basically trying to get the males to pay for a membership or tokens because stereotypically we are perceived as being more “horny” and more willing to pay for things like this than females.
You address this specifically and accept it as the norm and stated as the norm. So, thinking about equal rights, I find it very misleading to expect males to pay for additional features of the website versus anyone and everyone who uses the website. It's neither BS nor a scam. But it reflects reality. We agree with your inequity comments. However, when we first opened the site, we discovered women were simply not paying. That meant men-seeking-women were paying (for Silver, the only choice at the time) and getting the shaft ... paying + no replies = bad news. We then added Gold for men-seeking-women alone. It worked. The decision was not without qualms.

It is not broken, so there is no need to fix it. I like tokens. The cost of gold and silver is too expensive for the small number of potential partners in my region. If tokens are eliminated, I would likely leave the site.

I agree with Bronco. Make the first exchange, maybe the whole first year free. You will see your numbers sky rocket. If someone proves to be an effective attractant, you might reward them with free tokens and you will see the gifts move faster. Train before charging is a great model for success.

Members with Silver/Gold status should be able to receive email from non-paying members. At least answering an email they receive from us. They can read the message but they cannot answer. which is impeding the Silver/Gold members of the results they are intitled to.

as to the "Tokens are not recommended for Males seeking Females" policy this is plain discrimination. Why would a subgroup be favored. In my large city, these members are in minority (on both sides).

Most of the non-paying members are not professionnal RMT/LMT and are expressing their wanting to improve their techniques. Most of the times to impress their "other sex" dates, but they come to a "same sex" member to get those lessons.

As to a free/ad-based... try contacting manufacturers of products to sponsor you! Anything related to massage (furniture, oils... )

Having varied pay walls discourages me from fully engaging, especially considering how many inactive profiles exist in my area. Why pay more to message people with no gurantee of a response? In some ways this has turned into an OKCupid style of service. Which is not appealing to me.

Silver is pointless, confusing and a waste of money. On average I contact 1 member a month so tokens are the best value option for me. I like that I can buy them in bulk and then use them as the need arises, when a new and interesting member joins. I disagree with the official advice that males seeking females should not use tokens. In my large city there might be one new female member join each month if you're lucky so buying tokens to contact them costs half as much and if there is a month or two when no new members sign up then you haven't paid your membership for nothing. Perhaps try harder to attract and retain female members by not allowing them to be exposed to the creeps on the site.

Reminds me of "Give an inch and they want a mile.". Well, we have no plans to offer a 50% discount. But we are offering a $20 discount on 1-Year terms through Aoril, 30 2025. With prices destined to rise dramatically everywhere else from the Trump Tariffs, we're doing our part to help.

I'm ok with the current system. I've used Gold membership and tokens.  Gold was good when I was trying to reach a lot of people.  Tokens are more economical for reaching out to smaller groups of people, especially given that memberships expire but tokens do not.  If I were to suggest any change it would probably be to redefine membership so that current membership is required to contact a user for the first time but once contact is made, the ability to contact again never expires.

Better yet, eliminate both memberships and reduce the price of tokens.

The current levels of membership are good, tokens distract from the silver and gold
