I can't believe I forgot to review DIYafternoon! Highly recommend. It was such a good exchange a couple of months back, one of my favorite ever. He was flexible and easy to communicate with about scheduling (and i was having a really tough week for time management) and his hands were great: intuitive, just the right pressure (I like deep tissue), and willing to experiment with different massage techniques which is the best part of exchange, I find, when you try different things out together and learn. I 100% hope to trade with him again when I'm back in Toronto.
casey333 was easy to schedule with, easy to find and easy to talk to (all great pluses). Really great hands and frankly so skilled with them -- he spent ample time working out the knots and I was super tense from LA traffic-- that I was a little intimidated at first when it was time for him to lay down on the table and receive. One of my favorite exchanges and I definitely hope we can trade again.
Really enjoyed my trade with Brazilian... His technique which he told me is called "Chiromassage" was not something I'd experienced before and though I love swedish and deep tissue it was great to experience new sensations (though it had the more traditional massage elements, too). Nice setting and friendly personality, too. I would definitely trade with him again.
Really terrific massage. connecttouch is skilled and confident, with a great aptitude for deep tissue. Also accomodating and friendly as host, and I felt just great the next day. Definitely hope to trade with him again.
Florida45 contacted me on short notice but I'm really glad he did. We were able to arrange a time and the exchange was helpful (I'd started a new workout and my back was stressed) and comfortable. Maybe it's his height but the strokes seemed to be longer than I usually experience and he wasn't hesitant to use his strength for deep tissue (which is what I prefer). I felt great the next day. I have traded with deepmassageguy a few times now. I found him to be a very skilled therapist and every time I've had a specific issue, like last time i was having a lower back hip issue, he's worked it out beautifully so he listens to. Nice guy and gives a great massage.
I had a great great experience with JT. The first time we traded I was in an unusual amount of pain and he was so understanding. I felt totally nurtured during the session. We've traded since then and the massage was even better. I aspire to be as good at massage as JT.
Scentsations was extremely generous with his time and worked out some specific trouble areas on my back. The massage had a pleasing variety of techniques and stretching too (love that). I look forward to future exchanges.
greenman and i were able to quickly work out a mutually beneficial time to trade despite busy schedules and he was responsive, polite, friendly and physically fit. I normally seek out really deep tissue massage but his style happened to be a lighter more soothing touch which he was good at. Recommended.
