I am specifically interested in providing comfort and relief to Plus size women. This is an underserved group that is made to feel unwelcome in commercial massage parlors, spas or even in public and it's shameful. I believe everyone should be able to experience the therapeutic power of massage or simply compassionate human contact. I have no formal training but I have a knack for finding where the muscle knots are in the back, shoulders and legs. I am caring and non-judgemental. I start with gentle wide area rubs to acclimate the senses before applying more targeted pressure on the needed spots I find. Sometimes I do push the envelope a little in order to get the knots released, but I adjust pressure to the individual's threshold. I also do leg/foot massage to encourage circulation and draining of swelling or pooling fluid. Sometimes joints need a particularly gentle care due to soreness but working on range of motion and encouraging circulation can ease the discomfort of inflammation. I am not a business, so I can't justify a subscription to respond to "receive only" members.
