I have no professional training but a lot of amateur experience. I intend to follow a massage course sometime because I love both giving and receiving massages. My empathic ability to simulate what others feel when I touch them as though I feel it myself has helped me enjoy giving massages a lot. This works best when my partner's body is somewhat similar to mine; an average-fit build with some muscle. Received: ~10 hours of amateur therapeutic massages. Given: ~100 hours of amateur normal massages with generally positive, sometimes constructive feedback. My goal is to exchange a relaxing massage session, especially if timed after a long bouldering session. We can clearly and openly communicate about any boundaries.
