I definitely don't know the lingo, re:bodywork.. . I would say I have given a fair amount of amateur massages and have used books and tutorials. I am a fast learner and would put the time in to learn techniques if this ever takes off.
I like to keep as fit as possible. My job is fairly sedentary. So I try and run, play football, hill walk and cycle as much as I can (pre-covid). Mainly running at the moment.
I have been practising mindfulness fit the past year and I recognise the therapuetic aspects of massage, touch and being mindful.
I find that my back ends up in knots and i could regularly benefit from a massage, which is why I'm curious about this community.
