More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)
I am trained in a number of massage styles which essentially either fall under relaxation or remedial. Relaxation styles include Swedish, Kahuna (which is an Hawaiian style of massage), aromatherapy massage using certified organic essential oil blends catered to your needs, hot stone massage, bamboo massage, and myofascial release (which is more likely to be a technique used in a remedial massage but is very slow and soft so could be incorporated into relaxation). Styles that would be used in a remedial massage include deep tissue/sports, cranio-sacral massage, myofascial manipulation/connective tissue massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular technique/muscle energy technique, active and passive release technique, and lymphatic drainage. Assisted stretching can be applied to both relaxation and remedial massage styles.
