I truly believe massage is not a luxury; massage and human touch are required for a healthy mind and body. When giving a massage my goal (and enjoyment) is discovering first what feels right. This discovery focuses on promoting; circulation, release of tension & stress and mind-body integration which refreshes and invigorates the body, soothes emotions, and clears the mind. Where my primary therapeutic experience is; Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Esalen and hot stone, I can target areas with deep tissue. The length of the massage should never be fixed, it is based on; need, comfort, and benefit and where generally two hours, it can extend to three or more hours. I am beginning to experiment with aromatherapy and have a large selection of essential oils that can enhance the massage benefits.
