I have cerebral palsy and am a wheelchair user. I found this website one night when I couldn't sleep and was craving human affection. I lost my mom while I was in my teenage years and miss giving her foot massages. I suffer from a lack of human affection due to a verbally and mentally abusive nanny my parents eventually fired during my childhood.
I also successfully helped my dad (currently in his mid-70's) rehabilitate from being hit by another driver in a car accident a few years ago - he thinks I should try massage therapy as a career. Apparently, I give him decently to pretty amazing back, shoulder, leg and foot massages, because 2-4 times a week, he asks for them. (Only my walking is affected by the cerebral palsy.)
