When my wife, being struck by ALS, received massage therapy, I also had to get massages, too, because I had to lift her out of bed several times a day, so that my back and some muscles would hurt more and more.
I continued receiving massages from my therapist and she taught me massage on her. That's how I learned most.
I liked receiving massages and also giving massages. So I attended a Massage Course in Berne, Switzerland. In Chiang Mai, Thailand, I followed another massage course and got the school's diploma.
