I am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing full time for 8 years and part time for over 20 years. My relaxation therapy skills grew out of my own need to relax, and relieve pain in my neck and back. Personally, I had success with meditation, diaphragmatic breathing, Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy. This has made a great foundation for my massage therapy career. I am honored and blessed by the personal connection that develops in my work as I seek to understand my clients and help them to grow in self-awareness. My own self awareness and the need for nurturing relationships is a key reason for my joining this web site community. I like to share my own experience to help others find out what works best for them. I think that this is how God works through each of us....through our weaknesses overcome by His grace, for His glory. A great massage experience for me has strong elements of physical intimacy and connection where I am safe to let go without being concerned about my own or the giver's sexual responses. Because intimacy and connection are often exclusive to sexual experiences, it's not unusual for sexual tension to come and go in any massage session. I am not immune to this either, so no judgment. But I am 100% committed to have no sexual experiences or relationships outside of my monogamous marriage. Respecting this boundary is extremely important to me.
