I love the healing effects a good massage can provide. It's total relaxation of the mind and body. I would love to meet up with like-minded individuals for a swap (because much as I do love giving a massage, I love receiving one even more!). I started on this site as a massage enthusiast, and I am now obviously a fully qualified therapist. I would love to exchange with someone else who is similarly qualified. But to all you enthusiasts out there, here is a wee bit of cheerful advice - check out YouTube and similar websites for loads and LOADS of video clips on massage techniques and instruction. If you are really keen to exchange massage with other members here, then it would be in your best interest to give the best massage you possibly can. Just sayin'..... ;-) UPDATE 2016: I've been away from doing regular massage exchanges for a few years, having had several really disappointing experiences. I do really miss the experience of reciprocal touch though. Recently I noticed that the website now has an option to be a "receiver" only. I'll be totally honest - this appeals to me hugely. I mean, if there are people out there who are happy and willing to massage someone without receiving anything in return (except decent, structured, feedback) then surely that's a win-win. And if the person massaging me makes me feel awesome during the massage, then I'd be more than happy to turn a one-way session into an exchange.
